SEA to challenge other parties on Bush visit to Ireland

Polling in the European elections will take place just a fortnight before the planned visit to Ireland of the war criminal George W. Bush. The SEA supports those who are presently preparing a legal brief for the arrest of Bush upon his arrival on the island.

We will be using the election campaign to generate support for protests against Bush's visit. We will be contacting all other parties contesting the election asking them to join us in demanding that the disgraceful invitation to Bush by the Ahern government be withdrawn.

We will be circulating the other parties with a petition which we will ask them to sign, condemning the illegal war against Iraq and the Bush/Blair lies which led to the war.
